Crafted exclusively from 100% blue Weber agave, sourced from the mineral-rich soils of Jalisco's Highlands, each Corazón bottle exudes a superior flavor profile.
The patient maturation of agave, spanning up to a decade, is overseen by skilled jimadors who expertly harvest the plants at maturity. Transferred to the distillery, the agave undergoes precise baking in clay ovens at 194˚F for 48 hours.
Following meticulous fermentation for 72 hours, the result is a refined, low-alcohol elixir – the "mosto," primed for distillation. Corazón's double distillation at low temperatures preserves its essence. This remarkable spirit then matures in an EH Taylor Bourbon barrel for just under a year, delivering an unparalleled experience.
Tasting Note: Dark golden color, setting the stage for a symphony of flavors. Aromas of caramel and honey, intermingle. The palate is greeted by a balanced blend of tequila's timeless signatures—citrus and spice. Yet, what sets this Reposado apart is its complexity with luscious profiles of chocolate, chilis, cinnamon, and warm vanilla. A toasty finish that envelops the palate.
