The 2015 Chardonnay TBA (Nummer 7) offers a breathtaking interplay of richness and vibrancy. Orange peel, apricot glaze, rosewater, spice, French oak and star anise all build as this sumptuous, exotic TBA shows off its plush curves and extroverted personality. The 2015 is dazzling. That’s all there is to it.

Predominantly from gravel soils and aged in new oak for 18 months, the 2015 Trockenbeerenauslese No 7 Chardonnay Nouvelle Vague displays an intense golden color and an elegant, nobly spicy bouquet with just a touch of oak. Rich and viscous, this is another beautifully balanced and elegant yet mouth-filling TBA with fine tannins and lovely spicy flavors. The finish is beautifully salty, fine and very long with just a hing of new oak, which I like a lot here. The 2015 is a very digestible TBA, and its elegance and balance are truly outstanding. 9% alcohol and 246 grams of residual sugar.
