Since 1469 Feudo Montoni has been producing wines from its grounds south of Palermo, with contemporary farming focused on organic grapevines, minimal intervention in the winery, and sustainable energy. Fabio Sireci prides himself in mono-varietal wines that celebrate the spirit of Sicily, and in his vineyards, indigenous varieties like Perricone thrive!
Perricone boasts a big tannin structure, a quality not typically found in Sicilian reds, and in the right hands the grape can produce a perfectly balanced wine. Sireci's Perricone is round and soft with ref fruit and exotic spice on the nose and a clean, persistent finish. A knockout of a wine allowing one to take in the beauty of Sicily without breaking the bank.
