Les Petits Vougeot is separated from some very prestigious neighbors by only the width of a road, mere feet. Grand Crus Musigny and Clos Vougeot to the south. The exceptional Premier Cru Les Amoureuses is just to the north One of our favorites from this terroir are the delicious offerings of Hudelot Noellat. They represent some excellent value considering the prices that its neighbors fetch.
Noellat's version is made from a .54ha worth of Pinot Noir vines roughly 40 years old. One can expect an equal or better quality wine in these cases than many that emanate from the Grand Cru from Clos Vougeot.
