Our first stop ever at Domaine Michel Bouzereau was a fantastic stop. While we've carried and enjoyed these wines over the years our schedule never allowed us an opportunity to visit until last March. Our overall impression of their wines in the 2020 vintage is, wow! Like many, Jean-Baptiste Bouzerau faced hydric stress because of the drought conditions. Yet, despite that, the wines at this address were fresh and full of energy with standouts at every level, both white and reds. Jean-Baptiste told us that despite the heat, 2020 produced some of the most balanced wines he's ever made. Allen Meadows notes that "Their 2020s are first-rate and absolutely worth your interest."
